ESG Long-form Infographic

This map is from Geography 572, Lab 2. I was curious about what motivated Republican politicians to attack mutual funds that invest with ESG (Environment, Social Governnance) metrics. I found the data I needed from the US Energy Information Adminstration, including layers on how much primary energy each state produced and from what source. I created bivariate maps showing which states had enacted anti-ESG laws with pie charts showing the relative amounts of fossil, nuclear, and green fuels.
